Volkswagen reveals new luxury sedan, the Phideon

At its traditional auto show preview, always one day before the official opening of the event, the Volkswagen group normally reveals vehicles that have to do with the respective markets to which the motor show is intended. Not this time. At the preview show for Geneva, the German company has shown the Phideon, a luxury sedan for the Chinese market.

Check the video below.

As traditional as the event is the lack of technical information from Volkswagen. The car appears to be similar in size to Phaeton, but no details on dimensions or engines have been released. “Over five meters in length” is not what we would expect from the usual German precision. But this is what Phaeton was: over 5 m long.

And it had a 3.2 VR6 engine up to a 6.0 W12. Let’s see what Volkswagen intends to offer to Chinese customers when it puts the car for sale in the third quarter of the year.
