This is how an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sportwagon would look like, according to Alessandro Masera

The new Alfa Romeo Giulia was officially introduced to the press last week. And it has earned many compliments on its handling. With such a warm reception, Alfa Romeo should carefully consider offering at least one more body to Giulia’s line-up: a station wagon, probably named Giulia Sportwagon. Whether the Italian carmaker puts it to production or not, we can already imagine how it would be thanks to the Italian artist Alessandro Masera. He has shown what the car would look like at its Facebook page. Even if it is an old image, from last year, we had not published nor seen it until now, so we thought it would be a good idea to share it with you.

Alfa is working on a Giulia based SUV, the Stelvio, and there is word of a hatchback model also based on the Giorgio platform, slated to replace the Giulietta, but the station wagon is so far only in fans imagination. We hope it manages to break the barrier of imagination into the production field. And the video below, shot at the mythical track of Balocco, clearly shows we have our reasons to ask: Alfa Romeo, please build the Giulia Sportwagon! Please, please!
