L’Argus shows the Peugeot 208 that never was…

If you follow car scoops, you may ask yourself why some cars never appear at all. Or why some of them change. But the fact is that, until they are presented, the market may shift in such a way that what was attractive can suddenly not be anymore. A new body variant may make no more sense and so on. This is why it is so interesting to see what a car was supposed to be and what it really became, such as the guys of the French website L’Argus have managed to do with the Peugeot 208. Can you imagine the first one was this image below?

Well, that’s true. And the design evolved into the car we now have in many markets worldwide. If you are curious about the steps of development of the car, check the link in the French website. We could reproduce all the images here, but it would not be fair with their effort to uncover this story. And what a story it is. Whether you like the Peugeot 208 or not, it will be very instructive to see the steps since the first idea on the car up to the finished product.
