Karma confirms the name Revero for the former Fisker Karma

The fans of the late Fisker Karma do not have to worry about the sedan anymore. In April, it was said that the new company that produces it, Karma, would rename the car as Revero. Today, in a message sent to potential customers, the company has confirmed it will call the car as Revero. Check the message below.

The Karma Revero will have exactly the same dimensions of the former Fisker Karma. In other words, it will be 4.97 m long, 1.98 m wide, 1.31 m tall and will have a wheelbase of 3.16 m. Karma has promised it will have changes in the ICE engine and a new battery pack.

The former will probably be smaller, since there is no need for a 2.0 4-cylinder engine just to recharge batteries, while the latter will be bigger and more powerful, to provide a more aggressive performance. Even if the 2 120 kW electric engines of the Fisker Karma were more than enough.

Production will now occur in California, while the Fisker Karma was manufactured by Valmet, in Finland. And the reliability problems the Karma presented are said to have been addressed. If that is correct, and the car has a good pace of production, it may become a serious competitor to the Tesla Model S. Remember the Fisker Karma will also give birth to the VLF Destino, produced in Auburn Hills, Michigan. But, unlike its green sibling, the Destino will be powered by a 476 kW 6.2 LS9 V8, sourced by GM.
