Save the wagons! What would a new Cruze SW look like? Theophilus Chin gives us an idea

The first generation Chevrolet Cruze had 3 body varieties: sedan, hatchback and station wagon. The second one, built over the D2XX platform, has already presented the sedan and hatchback models, but not the station wagon. Will it have one? It may not happen, but, considering the renderings from Theophilus Chin, GM should give the Cruze SW a go. Check the front end of this imaginary station wagon below.

Dimensions, engines and transmissions would pose no mystery. The Cruze SW would be about the same size of the sedan, or else, 4.67 m long, 1.80 m wide, 1.46 m high and has a wheelbase of 2.70 m. It may be a little taller and it certainly would  have a bigger trunk than that of the sedan, with 419 l. It can have a GF6 automatic 6-speed transmission or a 6-speed manual and is powered by a 1.4 Ecotec turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 113 kW at 5,000 rpm and 245 Nm at 2,000 rpm. It would make a great low-cost station wagon, for some countries, or an expensive option in some others, such as Brazil. We would like to see it in all markets. And we hope it to be as beautiful as the one Chin has conceived!
