Opel reveals a little more of the GT

A second teaser video of the Opel GT has just been released and it shows a little more of the concept. We are proud to say we were right about the headlights. Check them below.

If you have not had time to see, check the main image of this post to see how the headlights of the concept are similar to the logo of the new car, which you can see below.

Something that is not in the video, but is worth having a look, is the exhaust pipe of the new concept. In fact, the two exhaust pipes connected by the logo of the car. Opel says it ” is reminiscent of the legendary 1965 Experimental GT”. Another strong hint that the car will indeed be produced, as the Experimental GT was.

As far as we know, the new Opel GT will be a 2+2 sports car, probably inspired by the Monza Concept and slated for production sometime in 2018. It will have a price tag of around 25,000 euros, or a little more than US$27,000. It will be powered by a variety of four-cylinder turbo petrol engines, with the most powerful one able to reach 221 kW. It will be presented at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, an event that already promises to be memorable due to the quantity of important new cars it will present.
