Yesterday, a chosen few have had the chance to meet firsthand the new Aston Martin DB11. This is what we can tell from the invitations that have leaked online and which you can read below. In the first document, signed by Andy Palmer, Aston Martin CEO, himself, we can confirm one of the first facts that have circulated about the car: it will have Aston’s first turbocharged engine.
There is no information on how much power or torque the new 5.2 V12 turbocharged engine generates, but we know the DB11 will have six different Designer Specifications, what does not hold you to order your new DB11 anyway you want, according to Palmer’s words, published by Ferd in Facebook.
The new DB11 will be revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show and it does not look like the one pictured in the image above, if it really is the car that has appeared in Autojunk.nl and AutoForum.cz. The British magazine Autocar says it is the real thing. Considering they have access to these vehicles way beforehand, but are forbidden to reveal details themselves, but not to talk about what others show independently, this is a good sign.
