Toyota will race its C-HR B segment SUV before it goes to production

Toyota must have remembered Tony Stark saying “sometimes you gotta run before you can walk”. Even if it has adapted run to race in what relates to the future C-HR B segment SUV. The company has announced it will race the small SUV at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, in May. The car will be raced by Toyota’s partner, Gazoo Racing.

According to the reports, Akio Toyoda wanted to do something special and to develop the new B segment SUV under racing conditions. Part of the “Fun to Drive. Again” motto he has inspired his company to create.

The production C-HR will be presented a while earlier, at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, and sales are expected to begin this year. The new SUV will be sold in the USA as a Scion.
