Mazzanti reveals its wildest Evantra, the EV-R Millecavalli

In April, we told our readers Mazzanti Automobili was preparing something very special. And it was releasing it piece by piece. The new car would be the wildest version of the Evantra. At that time, it was supposed to be named EV-R. But the final teaser of the project has disclosed its final name: Millecavalli, a reference to its total power, of 1,000 hp. In good English, one thousand horses.

Evantra-Millecavalli-2

The regular Evantra is 4.33 m long, 1.98 m wide, 1.23 m high and has a wheelbase of 2.55 m. It weighs 1,350 kg and its production is limited to 5 units a year, what makes it one of the most exclusive supercars in the world. With 552 kW at 7,500 rpm, it already delivers a top speed of 360 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 s. With 746 kW (or 1,000 hp), imagine what the Evantra will be capable of doing…

Evantra-Millecavalli-4

Luca Mazzanti, founder of the Tuscan carmaker, says it is the most powerful car ever produced in Italy in the video below, the last teaser before the official public revelation of the car, at the Salone dell’Automobile di Torino, or the Turin Auto Show, in June 8.

There are no surprises in terms of design, since the Evantra is a known car, but we are anxious to know what it can do in terms of performance. And we will get ours answers in about a week from now.
