SCOOP! – Honda Civic Hatchback appears while being transported

We still do not have the technical specifications or the prices for the new Honda Civic Hatchback, but this is pretty much all that is lacking. The car has been photographed by the guys at CivicX.com in the United Kingdom, where it is produced, with no camo at all. Check below.

This one was taken while the cars were being literally shipped to the USA. But there are more images, of the car in the trucks that took its units to the port.

The design is naturally sporty, but that does not mean these hatchback units will have a big engine under the hood. The Civic Hatchback is expected to use a 2.0 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 103 kW, and the new 1.5 turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol powerplant, which delivers 130 kW. The hotter version of the car will use the future 2.0 turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that will power the Type R. It will be able to produce 228 kW.

Regarding dimensions, we expect the Civic Hatchback to be around 4.30 m long, 1.80 m wide and 1.41 high. Since it uses the same platform of the sedan, it will surely have a 2.70 m wheelbase.
