Nissan will have the 5th generation Micra/March as its main star at the Paris Motor Show

The 5th generation Micra, also known as March in many markets, such as Brazil, will get to its 5th generation with the promise of being roomier and much more sophisticated than the 4th generation could ever imagine. Its revelation will happen at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, as the video below allows us to anticipate.

The new car is presented in 7 colors: orange, grey, bright green, white, blue, black and red. Both in a front view and in a back view. The new B-segment hatchback is expected to be around 4 m long, or 17 cm longer than the current March/Micra. There was the expectation that it would reveal the CMF-B platform, but this platform is to be revealed by the next generation Juke. Since it is being introduced before the crossover, it may as well keep the V platform that already underpins the Micra/March, such as the Nissan Kicks. A vehicle that is 4.30 m long, by the way.

If the platform is not entirely new, the engines promise to be. The new Micra/March is expected to use the same engines of the Renault Clio, like the 0.9-liter or the 1.2 turbocharged 3-cylinder.

Nissan-Sway-Concept-1 and have already tried to imagine its final shape. It is said to be inspired in the Sway Concept, which you can see above. Which one of them will be closest to the real deal? We will not have to wait long to discover.
