SCOOP! – NextEV has its prototype revealed by Autohome

We already know that the first product from NextEV will have 1 MW of power, but we all are more interested about how it will look, at first, than about its technical specifications. Thanks to the Chinese website Autohome, we can now have a better idea on the latter. We are also aware that the car is being designed by David Hilton, now the Senior Design Director at the company. Hilton has a remarkable career, having worked as the Head of Exterior Design at Bentley and as a designer at Ford, Mazda and Autolatina, the former joint venture Ford and Volkswagen have created in Brazil in the 1980’s.

Hilton has worked on the VW Gol (something Brazilian readers will certainly dig). Have a look at what the designer could do when he worked at Motor City Europe.

The first NextEV model, the electric hypercar you see in the first picture of this article, will be presented in November.

Hilton is not the only big name the company will be able to present. Martin Leach, former president of Ford Europe and CEO of Maserati, is also on the team. For what the car looks and for its power and expected price (US$ 1 million), we can expect big things for November.
