The Jeep Renegade is currently the best selling model of the brand. It has been considered as one of the safest small cars for sale in Latin America by Latin NCAP. And all seemed to go well with it until the Spanish website km77.com reported a very serious problem in its braking system. Under hard braking above 100 km/h, the rear of the car went airborne. Luckily not enough to make the Renegade rollover, but in a very scary way. Pablo David González was driving it and was told by FCA that specific unit had a problem. It is pretty evident this is not a single unit problem. All the Renegade units shown in these videos are produced in Mirafiori, so the matter can affect solely the vehicles produced there, but what if this is a project problem? Could it also affect the Renegade units produced in Goiana, Brazil?
