LEAKED! – This is the third generation Porsche Cayenne!
Porsche will broadcast the presentation of the third generation of the Porsche Cayenne next August 29. But, thanks to AutoExpress, the images of the new SUV have just leaked. And they reveal a vehicle that looks like a taller Panamera. Check them out below.
The tail lamps show the new brand identity presented by the Panamera is being religiously followed by the new models after it. Now built over the MLB Evo platform, the new Cayenne has not given us any tip on its new engines, but we expect to see the same ones used by the sedan. In other words, the following ones: 4S, with a 2.9 V6 that generates 324 kW at 5,650 rpm and 550 Nm from 1,750 rpm up to 5,500 rpm, the 4S Diesel, with a 4.0 V8, good for 310 kW at 3,500 rpm and 850 Nm from 1,000 rpm up to 3,250 rpm, and the Turbo, with a 4.0 V8 that produces 404 kW at 5,750 rpm and 770 Nm from 1,960 rpm until 4,500 rpm.
A hybrid version should also the light of day. Probably named 4 E-Hybrid, it should have 340 kW available, a combination of the 100 kW electric engine and the 243 kW twin-turbo 2.9 V6 mill. The electric motor alone delivers 400 Nm, while the V6 handles 450 Nm more. Check all the images of the car below. And wait for more news next August 29. Or at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
