We’re back in business!

Dear friends of MotorChase,

As some of you surely have noticed, MotorChase has been with no updates for a while. Antonio Rodrigues was not available, as I have mentioned he would probably be, and there have been 10 months since nothing is published here. This is the time I have spent as International Editor at Motor1.com. A fantastic experience that I have summed up at Facebook as a farewell message to my former coworkers. While I was in Motor1.com, I was required to present myself as a representative of the global network, with no other link to any other publication. And so have I done along these months. Friday was my last day there, since I was invited to be part of another editorial project. One that does not demand exclusivity. And here I am again!

MotorChase will now have a more international approach, focusing on news that will be interesting for a globalized audience rather than that of any specific market. With global car presentations, safety and technology, the most important subjects for the car industry nowadays. If you are an old time reader of MotorChase, welcome back. If you have just stepped upon us, be very welcome. And join us with high level comments and the genuine desire to chase not only the best automobile for your personal mobility needs, but also a better world. One that includes the invention that gave men freedom as nothing before it.

Gustavo Henrique Ruffo

I have been an automotive journalist since 1998 and have worked for many important Brazilian newspapers and magazines, such as the local edition of Car and Driver and Quatro Rodas, Brazilian's biggest car magazine. I have also worked for foreign websites, such as World Car Fans and won a few journalism prizes, among them three SAE Journalism Awards and the 2017 IAM RoadSmart Safety Award. I am the author of "The Traffic Cholesterol", a book about bad drivers that you can buy at Hotmart, Google Play, Amazon and Kobo.
