Fourth-generation Kia Cerato/Third-generation Forte will debut at NAIAS

Kia promises the 2019 Kia Forte, also known as Cerato in most markets, to be all new. And has revealed these sketches to tease its official revelation at NAIAS, but also refers to it as a third-generation model. And indeed it is: a third-generation of the Forte nameplate. But the fourth-generation Cerato. And the car got inspiration in its bigger brother, the Stinger, to present a more sporty look.

While the front has more pronounced creases at the hood and larger side air scoops, the rear also comes with details that look as air outlets in both sides of the rear bumper. The rear looks more solid and sculpted, with very aggressive tail lamps. In the interior, the car comes with the high-mounted infotainment screen that has become a signature for Kia, as well as circular air vents inspired by airplanes.

There’s no info on technical specifications, such as dimensions or weight, but we will follow all news very closely. Built in Mexico, the new Forte will surely be soon exported to other markets apart from the US, such as Brazil.  We’ll keep you posted!
