In presentation about lights, VW reveals parts of MK8 Golf

Vokswagen has recently released a press material on new lighting technologies. It said the next generation Golf will make the IQ.Light system, presented on the new Touareg, more popular. And that would be all about the new Golf if it were not for the images that followed the text. Most show new applications for the future lighting systems, such as communication, but two of them made us wonder. The first is a headlight that features the new IQ.Light system, but belongs to no production car currently available. The other one can be seen below.

LED tail lights. Are you there, MK8 Golf?

A mere concept for technology demonstration? Or the next VW Golf as an example of a very nice lighting system? We bet on the second hypothesis for the headlight and for the tail light as well.

Regarding the IQ.Light, it is also impressive. It offers 30,000 light points and much more functions that a conventional lighting system would be able to present. But it will be even more impressive when put to production. Or when it shows the electric version of the new Golf was fully charged, as in the image above. Interesting way to make a teaser, Volkswagen…
